The Empowered Caregiver Series by the Alzheimer's AssociationList Item 2

Hosted at The Homestead and led by the Alzheimer’s Association, this informative series will guide participants through the foundations of caregiving, including supporting independence, communicating effectively, responding to dementia-related behaviors, and exploring available care and support services. Every fourth Thursday of the month at The Homestead.
Caring for a loved one is deeply meaningful—but it can also feel overwhelming at times. That’s why Rochester Presbyterian Home is proud to host a monthly Support Group for Caregivers, offering a space to connect, share, and find encouragement alongside others who understand the journey.
Facilitated by Jennifer Sanfilippo, MBA, this group provides guidance, compassion, and practical support for those navigating the challenges of caregiving.
We’re grateful to Lifespan of Greater Rochester for making this program possible and helping us extend this important resource to our community.
