Rochester, N.Y. — The Rochester Presbyterian Home celebrated a century of service on Thursday with an open house event.
Since its founding in 1925, the facility has been dedicated to caring for the elderly, expanding over the years to three locations that provide a safe haven for residents and a welcoming environment for visiting families.
“We’ve been driven from the very first day when we started originally as a haven for the elders of the community, the seniors of the community, and today we focus on delivering assisted living services and memory care," said Valerie Hoak, vice president of community engagement for Rochester Presbyterian Home.

WROC News 8 visited RPH for our Casino Night Extravaganza on October 10th! 100 years ago on that date, Helen Niven donated her farmhouse and land which became the foundation of Rochester Presbyterian Home. The night included a proclamation presentation from Monroe County, as well as fantasy casino games, a speakeasy, food stations, live music and more!
