Our People
Our Focus
At RPH, our organizational chart is a circle - a reminder that everyone's focus is on our residents. We therefore hire staff who are not just skilled, but intuitively compassionate and kind.
Personal and Professional Growth
Each staff member receives extensive training in delivering our unique approach to care. They learn about dementia and how best to serve those who experience it. We conduct monthly Eden Alternative retreats to help staff understand and fulfill their roles - so that elders are always surrounded by skilled and loving people who are eager to help.
Our Care Team
Social Workers Guided by our residents and their relatives, our two social workers develop wellness plans for each assisted living community resident. They ensure that staff from all areas work together to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. They also provide advocacy, counseling, and support for residents and their families.
Nurses and PA Our nursing staff provides health assessments and manages each resident's medications around the clock. Three nurses are assigned on the day and evening shifts and one nurse on the night shift. A Physician's Assistant from nearby Highland Hospital is on site each weekday morning, and a physician from Highland Hospital makes weekly "house calls."
Resident Assistants They support our seniors with grooming, personal care, meals, housekeeping, and laundry - helping each resident to remain as independent as possible.
Activities Leaders Assisted by our Service Board and over 100 volunteers, our four Activities Leaders coordinate a diverse
array of stimulating activities and community outings. See our Events Calendar for examples.
Chaplain Residents of all faiths can receive pastoral counseling. Individuals may attend Bible studies and group discussions, as well as Sunday and mid-week ecumenical services. Rosary groups and Catholic Mass are also offered.
