Cottage Grove Dementia Care Residences

A place to live and grow...
The Memory Care Residences at Cottage Grove welcome elders with early to mid-stage dementia. Treated as honored members of our family, they live and grow in one of our four residences, nurtured by the comforts and routines of home and family, including pets, plants, and visiting children.
The residences are operated by the Rochester Presbyterian Home, which proudly extends the Home’s mission of caring to North Chili. The residences are one of the first in New York State to offer a residential design that departs from the institutional model dominating elder care. At Cottage Grove, there are no long corridors, nurse’s stations, or medication carts—just a warm, welcoming habitat where elders can thrive and be cared for as individuals.
Inspired by the philosophy of the Eden Alternative, the staff of the Memory Care Residences are dedicated to caring for each elder’s mind, body and spirit. We get to know our elders on a personal level and build genuine family relationships. We accommodate their personal care needs respectfully while preserving their dignity. We nurture our elders’ human spirit by helping them grow and find meaning in day-to-day life. We honor our elders.
Our Neighbors…

We welcome students from our neighboring Roberts Wesleyan College and other area schools to learn and grow through the wisdom of our elders.
